I have recently purchased a 1991 3288 with 2x Hino 150s, I am only getting 12knts @ 2900 rpm.( max available) is this O.K? Should I be able to get more rpm? There is some black smoke at these revs but do not seem to be using oil. There is good evidence of service history for the engines showing regular oil & filter changes and injector servicing approx 200 hrs ago. The motors have done 2000hrs. Can any members please advise me if these performance figures are acceptable or if i should...
